„Flow cytometry for fast and sensitive diagnosis and follow-up of haematological malignancies”.
On behalf of the EurfoFlow consortium, we would like to announce the 8th Educational Symposium and Workshops dedicated to the field of flow cytometry.
EuroFlow scientifical consortium was found in 2006. The main aim of the group is the development and standardization of fast and sensitive flow cytometric technics for diagnosis, classification and monitoring of hematological malignancies. The Medical University of Silesia, represented by the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Zabrze is one of the EuroFlow's participants from its creation.
The 6-year (2006-2012) cooperation between the research centers of the EuroFlow consortium brought the design of immunostaing protocols dedicated to the diagnosis of all known haematological malignancies, as well as the development of specialized Infinicyt Software for further standardization of the analysis and interpretation of the immunophenotypic results.
The purpose of the open workshops is to inform the broader audience in the results of the Euroflow cooperation.
